Hard to believe December is already here! It’s been a very busy few months at TetraGear, but we are happy to report that we only have a couple of Kickstarter reward lights left to deliver!
There are countless challenges to overcome when bringing a new product into the marketplace, and as such, even fully-funded Kickstarters can struggle to deliver their products. Just a reminder that before we reached our goal at the end of May, TetraGear did not have the parts and supplies required to build our first production batch of the lights—it was entirely the support of our wonderful backers that made this possible!
The engineering team spent the summer ordering, validating, and refining components for the best possible end model, and assembly of our first lights began in late September. Even with a few recent supplier hiccups, we are very proud that we were able to get the Kickstarter lights out before the end of 2016; we thank everyone for their continued support and patience. We know that as the days get darker, staying bright and visible becomes even more important.
We are now starting to fulfill our new website orders, and we hope everyone who receives a light loves it.
